Rest and relax and enjoy your husbands recovery. It's all you can do to help get through the horrors of our world today. Take care and enjoy your family. We can only pray it will all get better.

Relax and enjoy. Ignore the news.

You’re on vacation! You’ve got a son to hug, a good puppy to play with, time to enjoy with your sweetheart, good books, and adult beverages. Have a wonderful time 💙

My husband and I just went through that. Original "alarm" in August, 2024 told, "you need a test." Hadn't heard about test by October, I called. Told, "Oh, we're just now making appointments for those who were here in August. If I don't call you by next week, call me." It took two weeks and then the appointment was for December. It was March before treatment started. His numbers are excellent right now. All this to just say, "I know what you went through and are going through." Enjoy your vacation.

I kept telling myself that if there was indication that it had spread, or if he had any symptoms (because he didn't), they would have perhaps expedited the process. Maybe. All I know is I didn't have a clue it could take months from diagnosis to treatment. And I'm so glad your husband is doing well!

Go enjoy your trip you both deserve it! I went through ovarian cancer treatment last year and am happy to say I was extremely lucky and am cancer free. My heart is heavy with what’s going on in this world so I have been reading a lot and watching some shows. I watched a hysterical show on Brit Box Friday night dinner! Check it out as a mother of sons I know you will find it funny.

I'm so glad you're lucky; that's a scary one. And I've heard of Friday Night Dinner; I'll have to check it out.

Really glad to hear he's on the road to recovery, Melanie. Sounds like a stressful time.
